Home Rules Advertising Information
Home Rules is the newsletter of the Ontario
Federation of Teaching Parents. It is published on a bi-monthly basis
and sent to hundreds of OFTP members across Ontario.
If you have a product or service to offer the homeschooling community, you
may place an ad in our newsletter. Just follow the guidelines below.
PLEASE NOTE:
- Text and graphics will be accepted in colour for the online edition
but will be printed in black and white in the print edition.
- You must get your ad approved before making your payment. Please email
it to the newsletter editor, who will reply with an Ad Approval Code
for you to put into the payment form.
- Payment must be received in advance of ad placement. In other words,
it is not sufficient to have received your approval code before the publication
deadline, you must also have made your payment by that time.

Ad Format
The ad can be prepared and sent in one of the following ways:
- Email your prepared ad to newsletter@
(add ontariohomeschool.org to complete the email address) as a file
attachment in either high resolution JPEG or PDF format.
- OFTP can prepare and design the advertisement from content supplied by
the advertiser.
- Prepare and mail a hard copy of your ad to be scanned into the newsletter.
To receive the newsletter editor's mailing address, you must first contact
her by email or leave a message for her by phone.

Submission Deadlines
Submission deadlines are by 6 pm on the 3rd Friday of each odd-numbered month.

Circulation
Home Rules is distributed to all our members across Ontario. We currently
have around 200 members.
